About Instant Ragi Idli
Instant Ragi idli is a steamed idli recipe prepared from finger millet. Instant Ragi idli is an easy and quick recipe prepared with just few ingredients. I have used rice flour but here you can substitute rice with semolina, it is equally delicious and healthy. This recipe does not require soaking, grinding or fermentation process. Ragi is a very healthy food and it has good source of proteins and minerals.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Ragi Flour
- 1/2 cup Rice Flour
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- Water as required
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- to Idli or oil oil grease the plate

Instructions
- Take the rice flour, ragi flour, salt, baking Soda and Curd in mixing bowl. Pour water slowly and make a smooth batter. The batter should not be too thin.
- Keep the batter aside for 10-15 mins. In the meantime grease the idli moulds.
- Now pour ladleful of batter into each mould and place it in a steamer. Steam it for 10-12 mins till it is done.
- Remove it and leave it to cool for 5 mins and serve with any Chutney, Sambar or Curries of your choice.
