Instant Green Chilli Pickle

Green chilli has vitamin C, so we can consume in any form. Making pickle is a great art. Pickle has a reflection of a family. This is instant pickle. We can serve this as a side dish with meal.

  • 1 bowl green chilli slited
  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tsp roasted coriander powder
  • 2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp mustard paste
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 2 tbsp dried mango powder
  • Salt


  • Wash green chilli slit and dry in sun. Take a frying pan heat add oil fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds. When seeds wiil crack add turmeric powder. Then add green chilli, salt and sauteed.

  • Now add roasted coriander powder, roasted cumin powder and mustard powder and dried mango powder. Mix well switch off the flame. Fill in a jar. It can be preserve in freeze for more than a month.

Can be serve with rice/ paratha/ chapati
