Chalividi/Chalimidi is offered to deity as Naivedhyam during festivals.
I made the process simpler with no compromise in taste to the regular chalividi.
On the eve of Ganesh Puja, we made eco-friendly ganesh with clay and also with soap flakes.

Ingredients
- Rice Flour – 1 cup
- Coconut Slices – 1.5 cups
- Sugar – 3/4 cup
- Cardamom Powder – 1 teaspoon.

Instructions
- Grind all the above ingredients in a dry mixie jar until a soft mix is formed.
- Transfer it into a bowl and roll it into round shaped balls.
- Chalimidi is ready to be offered as Naivedhyam to the deity.
- It can be stored in refrigerator for two-three days
