Chalividi/Chalimidi is offered to deity as Naivedhyam during festivals. I made the process simpler with no compromise in taste to the regular chalividi. On the eve of Ganesh Puja, we made eco-friendly ganesh with clay and also with soap flakes.

Ingredients
  

  • Rice Flour – 1 cup
  • Coconut Slices – 1.5 cups
  • Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1 teaspoon.

Instructions
 

  • Grind all the above ingredients in a dry mixie jar until a soft mix is formed.
  • Transfer it into a bowl and roll it into round shaped balls.
