Ingredients
 

  • 3/4 cup Bread Crumbs fresh
  • 1/4 cup Semolina
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1 tbsp Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Carrot finely chopped
  • 1 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Coriander chopped
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 3 / Water approx cup as required
  • 1/8 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tbsp Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • take bread crumbs, semolina and curd in a bowl and mix well

  • to the batter add onion, carrot, green chili, coriander and salt and mix everything well

  • add some water and prepare a thick batter

  • keep aside for 10-15 minutes
  • preheat an appe pan and brush each mold with oil

  • add soda to the batter and mix gently

  • fill each mold with batter and cover and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes on low-medium flame

  • when the appe get brown from one side flip the side and continue cooking until brown from other side as well

  • take out the roasted appe in a plate and serve
