About Indori Patties
Indori patties are very famous street food of Sarafa bazaar at Indore. I had these patties a long time ago when I met my hubby the first time . I am very attached with this recipe as its remind me of that time. When I made it today at home my hubby was super happy and he said "Indore ka wo sarafa market yaad a gaya." It's very tempting recipe with coconut stuffing.

Ingredients
For dough
- 4 Potatoes boiled
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tsp corn flour
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Salt as per taste
For stuffing
- 1/4 cup dry coconut grated
- 2 tsp ginger, green chili paste
- 1/4 cup Coriander finely chopped
- 4-5 cashews finely chopped
- Salt as per taste
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
- Oil for frying

Instructions
For dough
- Take boiled potatoes, mash properly. Add bread crumbs, corn flour, black pepper powder and salt. Mix well and make a fine dough.
For filling
- In a small bowl, take grated dry coconut, add ginger & green chili paste, lemon juice, cashew nuts, coriander leaves and salt as per taste. Mix all ingredients well. Stuffing is ready. Keep it aside .
- Now take dough and take small portion of it and flatten it on palm. Put 2 tsp stuffing in center.
- Close from sides and make a ball.
- Repeat this process with remaining dough and stuffing.
- Now in kadhai take oil. Once it gets hot, fry these patties balls until they become golden brown in color. Indori patties are ready.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
Recipe Notes
- You can add more dry fruits of your choice in stuffing.
