Yes, I love to sip green tea after my dinner. Green tea preparation is different from the normal tea we make in our home. If the water is too hot the tea will taste bitter.   • 2 cup Water
  • 2 leaves Green Tea
  • to lime Lime - To Taste taste
  • to Honey optional taste


  • Heat 2 cups of water in a sauce pan.
  • Once the water is heated, switch off the stove and add in green tea leaves and close the tea pot with the lid.
  • Let it rest for 3 minutes.
  • Strain the tea using a Tea strainer.
  • Add in few drops of lemon juice.
  • Add honey according to your taste.
  • Stir well and enjoy the cup of goodness.

Recipe Notes

1. Do not boil the water it will make the tea to taste bitter.
2. Adding honey is optional, I love to sip my cup of tea without honey.
