Hot And Sweet Fig Chutney

It is naturally healthy anti oxidants. Figs are naturally fat free and cholesterol free food. They are also an excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Iron, Calcium, Potassium and magnesium. Figs are a potassium rich foods can help correct imbalance. High levels of fibre in fig can help to flush excess sodium from system.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm dried and soaked fig
  • ½ cup tamarind puree
  • ½ cup jaggery syrup
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dried ginger powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat a pan add FIG and salt. Cook for a few minutes with closing lid.
  • When the fig will become semi soft then add jaggery syrup and chilli powder. Mix and again cook.
  • Finally add garam masala and dry ginger powder. After then it will ready to serve.
