Homemade Masala Chilli Chicken

Homemade masala Chilli chicken is prepared in a restaurant style with a twist of grinding all the masalas at home. Homemade ground masalas enhances the taste than using shop bought readymade masalas. Homemade masala Chilli chicken is deliciously amazing treat for all ages.

  • Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  • Red chillies 20 numbers soaked in water
  • Dhania seed 2tablepoon
  • Fennel seed 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper corns1/4 teaspoon
  • Clove1
  • Cinnamon 1/4 inch
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Ginger 1/2an inch
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Curd 1 tablespoon
  • Oil for frying
  • Onion rings for garnishing
  • Lemon 1


  • Grind soaked dried chillies with all the ingredients except chicken and oil. Do not use water. Add curd for grinding. Thick paste is ready for marination. Marinate boneless chicken with the ground paste. Let it marinate for two hours.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Fry marinate chicken in oil. Fry till golden brown. Garnish it with lemon and onion rings.Homemade masala Chilli chicken is ready to serve in a restaurant style.
