Homemade chocolates are the easy cheat, kids recipe. Now, why I say that because when you buy chocolates from outside, kids don't care about the size of the chocolate, all they care about is the numbers and you will have to give one full chocolate to satisfy them. So when you make bite-size chocolates even if they eat 2 in a day it's better than the whole big chocolate. And let's all the mother accept the fact that kids will ask for the chocolate. So why not hide some dry fruits and healthy seeds to make it a little better.

  • Dry roast all the dry fruits on the low flame. There is no need to add oil or ghee as dry fruits will leave their own oil. Dry roast them for at least 15 minutes and keep stirring them. You will get the crunchy roasted dry fruits.
  • Leave them for some time and then pound them with mortar and pestle.
  • Break the chocolate bar into small pieces and in the double boiler melt it. You can microwave it too. Always microwave in slots. eg first microwave it for 10 minutes and then give it a stir then another 5 minutes.
  • Mix dry fruits with the melted chocolate and put this melted chocolate mixture in silicon chocolate molds. this is the secret to win over the hearts of kids. The more variety of shapes which you will have, the more it will excite the kids.
  • Freeze them overnight and unmold the next morning. Store it in air tight container and keep it in the fridge.Approximately 50 small sized
