Homemade Cheese Sauce With Step By Step Pictures. Ths is a simple and yummy cheese sauce recipe which can be accomplished with French fries, Nachos etc. I love French fries topped with cheese sauce. This yummy sauce can be topped on your favorite salad to enhance its flavor. I also use this as my chicken salad dressing. It's easy, quick and requires only a handful of ingredients. This is the basic cheese sauce recipe, you can add different seasonings according to your flavor.

Ingredients
- Butter - 1tsp
- Maida - 1 tsp
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Cheese - 1/4 cup
- Salt - a pinch

Instructions
- Heat 1 tsp butter in a sauce pan.
- Once butter is melted add in 1 tsp of All purpose flour/ Maida and cook it for 1 min until the maida changes its color.
- Then add in 1/2 cup of milk into the sauce pan.
- Once the milk starts boiling, add in 1/4 cup cheese into it. (I used cheese cubes).
- Add in pinch of salt, do not add too much salt as the processed cheese contains salt.
- Keep the heat low, let it cook until it reaches the pouring consistency.
Notes
1, Keep the flame low while cooking.
