Herbed Fried Rice is an flavourful fried rice with the goodness of fresh and dry herbs . Herbed Fried Rice is a mild dish which could be fed for little children as well . Herbs like parsley , spring onions , dried thyme , oregano is used .
Yield / Serves
Basmati rice Cooked and cooled 1 bowl which makes 4 cups
Garlic finely chopped 2 tablespoons
Celery finely chopped 3 tablespoons
Springonions white bulb portion finely chopped 3 tablespoons
Spring onions green portion finely chopped 1/4 cup
Parsley fresh leaves finely chopped 1/2 cup
Dried thyme 2 teaspoons
Oregano 1.5 teaspoon
Olive oil 3 tablespoons
White pepper powder 2 teaspoons or as preferred
Salt as required
Red chilli flakes 1 tablespoon
Soya sauce 1 tablespoon
Heat oil in a wide pan . Add chopped celery . SautÃ© for a minute . Add garlic and sautÃ© till aroma releases . Add the herbs one by one .
Toss all quickly . Add salt and red chilli flakes .
Add soya sauce . Add the cooled rice and toss gently till herbs and sauce coat well the rice grains .
Sprinkle white pepper powder . Garnish with spring onions green . Serve hot .
