  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Castor Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 cup Pineapple Puree - Its better to make fresh puree
  • 1/4 cup Walnut
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil I use Rice bran oil

  • Sieve Wheat flour thoroughly to avoid any lumps and sieve castor sugar along with it.
  • Add Cinnamon powder. Baking powder and fine grounded walnuts (you can chop and put them to make it crunchy )
  • Add Pineapple puree and oil and fold it with spatula.
  • Pre- Heat the oven at 180 degree Celsius and Cover the square baking pan(8 x 8 x 1 1/2 in.) with parchment paper and pour the batter.
  • Set Microwave for 50 minutes. Let it stand for another 10 minutes before you take it out from the microwave.

Recipe Notes

  • Fresh puree would always taste better than canned one, So try and make your own puree.
  • I prefer fine grounded walnut powder as its easy to swallow but chopped are also fine.
