Vegetables Fried Rice made with steamed veggies, curry leaves powder and ghee served with delicious dal. It is one of the recipes during the childhood.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Basmati rice
  • 1 cube Butter small cube
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Jeera Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Urad Dal Black gram split
  • 1/2 tsp Chana Dal Spilt chickpea lentils
  • 1 Onion Chopped into small pieces
  • 1 cup Cashew nuts small cup
  • 4 Green chilies
  • 2 Carrots
  • 100 gm Beans
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Curry leaves powder

Instructions
 

  • Switch on the stove, keep it on medium flame and keep the pan
  • Add one small cube of butter and one tablespoon of ghee
  • Add Half a teaspoon of mustard seeds and Jeera(Cumin Seeds)
  • Add Half a teaspoon of Urad Dal(Black Gram )
  • Add Half a teaspoon of Channa Dal (Chickpeas Lentils) and 4 green chilies fry for sometime
  • Add the chopped onions and cashew nuts - Fry for sometime
  • Add One Teaspoon of Salt and Turmeric Powder and Mix Thoroughly
  • Add One Tablespoon of curry leaves powder and Saute for Two Minutes
  • Add steamed carrots and beans and mix them thoroughly
  • Then Add the cooked White Rice
  • Mix it thoroughly
  • South Indian Style Vegetable Fried Rice with Dal is Ready to Serve
