Healthy Non Fried Oats Pakoras

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1 cup Gram Flour Besan
  • 1/2 cup Coriander Chopped
  • 2 piece Green Chili Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Onions Chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 3/4 tsp Dry Mango Powder Amchur Powder
  • 2 tsp Mustard Oil


  • Soak oats in 1 cup water for 10 -15 min so that oats soften up. Add all the ingredients to prepare oats pakora batter.
  • The consistency of the batter should be just like general pakoras usually prepared. Add little water to adjust the consistency.
  • Heat an appam pan and drizzle little oil in all the sections. Put spoonful of oats pakora batter in each section and allow to cook from one end.
  • Flip the appe pakoras to cook from other end. Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup.
