Yield / Serves
For the dough: 1/2 cup maida
1/2 cup atta
1/2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp salt
Water to knead the dough
For the stuffing: 1 cup carrot finely chopped
1 cup cabbage finely chopped
1/2 cup capsicum finely chopped
1/4 cup sweet corn kernels boiled
2-3 tsp green chillies finely chopped
1/2 cup grated mozzeralla cheese
1/2 tbsp chaat masala
1/2 tbsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Few lettuce leaves
Other ingredients for Sauce: 2 tbsp tomato sauce
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp green chilly sauce
Oil for cooking
For the roti: Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead a soft dough. Cover the dough with wet muslin cloth and keep aside.
For the stuffing: Heat oil in a pan add chopped green chillies, carrots, cabbage, capsicum. Mix it well and cook till the veggies softens.
Add boiled sweet corn, garam masala, chaat masala, salt and pepper. Mix it well cook for another 2-3 mins. Switch off the flame and keep the stuffing aside.
Preparatiin of frankie: Divide the dough into equal parts. Roll out each into a circle. Heat the tawa and cook the roti nicely from both the sides.
Keep the roti on a plate spread lettuce leaves on the roti and 3-4 tbsp of the prepared stuffing and top up with the sauce and grated cheese.
Roll the roti from from one side and insert a toothpick in the centre so that the roll does not open.
Repeat the same process for making rest of the rolls. Serve with tomato and green chilly sauce. Happy Eating!!
