This is a very simple vegetable which can be made quicly for breakfast or to pack it in tiffin

Ingredients for Hare Pyaaz And Aloo

  • Spring onions 250 grams, potato 2 big size, garlic about 4 cloves sliced into long pieces , salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, oil, 2-3 green chillies, two pinch of of Nigella seed (kalongi)

How to cook Hare Pyaaz And Aloo

  1. Wash and cut spring onions. Cut the leafy part separately and the onion bulb separately, Cut potatoes like you would cut for french fries.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add kalongi and garlic cloves, after 30 secs add white part of the onion. saute it and add the potatoes. Fry them for a minute and then add green part. Add green chillies, salt to taste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and let it cook on sim flame for about 10-15 mins. Check the potatoes to make sure it is properly cooked.

  3. Serve this crunchy sabzi with paratha.. It taste different and yummy and add variety to the regular sabzi's we eat.
