Ladoos are one of the sweets or dessert, that can very easily be made for any festival.I have given this simple khoya- coconut ladoo a wonderful twist with the addition of gulkund and paan in it.Believe me ,Its taste is wonderful. Every one would like to try in again and again.

Ingredients
- 200 gm khoya
- 100 gm coconut desiccated
- 100 gm Sugar powdered
- 1 pinch cardamom powder
- 2 betel leaves paan
- 1 pinch food colour green, optional, I did not use it
- 1/2 cup coconut desiccated, for coating
- 2 tbsp Gulkund rosejam
- 1 tsp Desi Ghee for greasing
- 2 tbsp dry fruits chopped, cashew , walnut , pistachios , almonds
- Glazed cherries to decorate
- Rose petals to decorate

Instructions
- In a pan, add the Gulkand and the dry fruits and cook on slow flame till it binds together. Switch off the gas and keep it aside to cool. Roll the paan leaves together and chop them to make their paste.
- Cook the khoya and coconut mixture in the heavy bottom pan, on medium low flame. Stir the mixture continuously to avoid burning.
- Add the paan leaves paste and a pinch of green food color(if using) and cardamom powder to it.
- Within few minutes, the mixture will start leaving the sides and come together as dough. Switch off the gas.
- Cool the mixture and mix powdered sugar well. Grease your palms with ghee. Pinch a small portion of the mixture and make a depression with your thumb on it.
- place a bit of Gulkand and dry fruits mixture inside and roll between your hands into balls like laddoos.
- Roll the ladoos in desiccated coconut and keep aside. Decorate with glazed cherries and rose petals .
- easy and sweet Paan ke Ladoo dessert is ready.
Recipe Notes
- This dessert can be made easily and can be relished any time.
- Before serving, keep in refrigerator to retain round ladoo shape.
