About this recipe

Ginger has long history of benefit. It is roots plant. Similar with turmeric plant family. It is good for digestive system and medicinal plants. It can be used fresh or dried.

Ingredients for Ginger Pickles

  • 250 gms ginger
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup roasted five spice masala
  • 200 gms mustered oil
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup vinegar

How to cook Ginger Pickles

  1. Cut ginger into one inches long dry with air.
  2. Take a mixing bowl add dehydrated ginger, five spice masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, onion seeds, salt, vinegar and mustered oil.
  3. Keep in a glass jar tight the lid. Start eating after a week.
