Ingredients & Quantity
  • Lauki 1 kg ( Grated)
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Dry fruits – As per taste( Well sliced)
  • Cream – 1 cup
How to cook?
  1. Take the grated Lauki in a pan and cook in medium flame. Add the sugar and keep roasting till the water dries up. 
  2. Add the blenched dry fruits and cream and keep cooking in low flame till the lauki turns brown and starts leaving ghee.
  3. Pour the ingredient in a plate and press it with another plate so that the mixture remains together. 
  4. Allow it to cool for half an hour and then drain off the additional ghee.
  5. Cut it into pieces with the help of knife but do not remove them from the plate. 
  6. Allow it to cool properly and then put it in the refrigerator.  The Lauki mithai is ready after around 2 hrs. Enjoy!!
