Ghee Cake - Plattershare - Recipes, food stories and food lovers
As the name of the cake suggests this cake is prepared using ghee as one of the primary ingredient. Instead of butter I have used desi ghee (clarified butter) which gives a unique flavour to the cake. Ghee cake is popular in bakery of Southern part of India. Though I have not tasted from a local bakery and tried it on my own.

If the mixture becomes dry in nature you can add little more milk to make it smooth. If you want you can also add a pinch of saffron to this cake better which will give a nice colour and aroma.
