About this Recipe

Usually "Gajar ka Halwa" takes a lot of time to cook. However, by preparing through this method we can prepare nice and yummy Halwa in just 30-45 mins.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • Gajar/Carrots – 1 Kg (Grated)
  • Milk – 1 kg
  • Cream – 250 gm
  • Milkmaid – 1 pack
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Dry Fruits
How to cook?
  1. Take the grated carrots in a cooker. Add 1 small cup water(Just enough to boil remaining no water) and boil it in a cooker for 10 mins. Boil milk in a container and add the boiled carrot in it. Cook on medium flame. Stir continuously. As the milk starts drying up add cream and ½ tin milkmaid from the container. Stir till the mixture dries. Add Ghee and stir till the mixture dries properly and the ghee looks separated from the halwa. (No need to add sugar). Garnish with blenched dry fruits. Serve hot!!
