  • 3 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Yeast active dry
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 1 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 2 tbsp Garlic grated
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil


  • Take 1 cup of lukewarm water and add 1 tablespoon of sugar to it and mix it well
  • Now add the yeast to the warm water and mix it. Leave it aside for 5 minutes to the yeast activates
  • Meanwhile take a wide bowl and add the 3 cups of flour, salt and 1 teaspoon of grated garlic to it, and mix it well
  • Now add the activated yeast mixture little by little to the flour and mix it well
  • Knead the dough for 5-6 minutes
  • Once the dough is not sticking to the hand apply some oil and cover the dough with the wet cloth and place it in a warm area to rise the dough for at least 1 hour
  • After an hour , the bread dough must be almost doubled in size
  • Now punch the dough and place it in a well greased baking tray/skillet and allow it for second proof for 30 minutes
  • Once the dough is risen, apply some olive oil mixed with fennel seeds and grated garlic on top of the bread dough and makes some slits diagonally
  • Now bake the bread for 30-35 minutes on a preheated oven at 400F
  • Flavorful focaccia bread is ready now.
