Flattened Rice Ladoos are very quick to prepare . It can be considered another exquisite wholesome, nutritious and delicious snack. Kids love this basic recipe of ladoos.

  • Flattened Rice – 1 cup
  • Sugar Powder- 1 cup
  • Cardamom – 5
  • Clarified butter/Ghee-1/2 cup
  • Grated Coconut – 1/2 cup


  • Roast the flattened rice in a pan . Make a flour of it in a dry mixie jar.
  • Transfer this powder into a shallow dish.
  • In the same pan, dry roast the grated coconut.Keep it aside.
  • Grind the sugar into a smooth powder in the dry mixie jar. Transfer this sugar powder to the bowl of flattened rice flour.
  • Add cardamom powder, grated and roasted coconut to it. Then pour warm ghee to the powders. Mix well and shape it into ladoos.
  • These can be stored at a cool place for a week or two.
