Fish recipe is very easy and common in West Bengal. From very early stages they start eating fish. Tiny fish contain more phosphorus then large fish. It has less cholesterol. I prefer to eat small fish. But it is difficult to cut and dressing.

Ingredients
- Fish 250 grams
- Turmeric powder 2 tsp
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Ginger paste 2 tsp
- Tamarind paste 2 tsp
- Red chilli paste 1 tsp
- Green chilli slices
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Mustard paste 2 tsp
- Mustard oil as required
- Salt

Instructions
- After dressing wash thoroughly and marinate with turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice.
- Take a frying pan add mustard oil then fry the marinated fish.
- Now in the same if need add oil. Add mustard seeds, when spark add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, ginger paste, chilli powder and salt. Sprinkle little water.
- Stir continuously add a cup of water. Boil for a few minutes. Add fried fish, mustard paste and tamarind paste and sliced green chilli. Again boil. Serve with steam rice.
