In the rainy season we get eggs in fish. When we get big sizes eggs we cook different types of recipes. This is a Bangladeshi recipe which I have learned from my mother.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 250 gms fish eggs
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup onion paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 2 tsp chopped green chilli
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

How to cook?
  1. Eggs should be big sizes. Wash the whole eggs and cut into pieces. Rub with turmeric powder salt and mustered oil.
  2. Take a frying pan add 2 tbsp mustered oil and sauteed all eggs pieces. Keep separate.
  3. Fish eggs curry (Bangladeshi)
  4. Add more 2 tbsp mustered oil heated. Now add onion paste, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, tomato paste and salt.
  5. Fish eggs curry (Bangladeshi)
  6. Stir fry then add 1/2 cup water and eggs pieces. Cover with lid for 10 minutes.
  7. Add chopped green chilli, garam masala powder and fresh chopped coriander leaves. Ready to serve
Notes

Very tasteful with steam rice.
