Ingredients
- 20 pieces Figs (anjeer- dried)
- 25 pieces Walnuts
- 25 pieces Almonds
- 25-30 pieces cashews
- 2 tsp Sesame Seeds (optional )
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 3 tsp Castor Sugar ( if required)
- 2 tsp Clarified Butter (or ghee)

Instructions
- In a boiling water ,blanch the dried figs for 10 min.Drain and puree them in a food processor using little water.
- Meanwhile chopped almonds, cashewnuts and walnuts.
- Heat ghee ,add figs paste mixture mix well and saute for a minute.Now add chopped dry fruits , sesame seeds and mix everything well.
- Add cardamom powder and castor sugar (if required)and cook for a minute.
- Line a tray with butter paper or ghee or foil, pour burfi mixture level well with spatula and allow mixture to cool down completely.
- Now cut down in to triangular pieces and serve it or refrigerate it in airtight container.
Recipe Notes
- you can use dry fruits of your own choice.
- Don’t make all the dry fruits in to powder but keep them in coarse or small pieces.
