That day I went to market and saw green tiny figs are selling. Then I recall my memories my mother used to cook the recipe. Green figs are available in summer season. Fig is member of mulberry family. The leaves of the fig tree also edible. It's has medicinal properties.

Ingredients
  

  • Green figs 250 grams
  • Bengal gram flour 100 grams
  • Chopped green chilli 2 tsp
  • Finely chopped garlic 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Whole ground masala 1 tsp
  • Tomato paste 2 tsp
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil as required

Instructions
 

  • First wash the green figs and cut into pieces. Then boil and grind.

  • Take a mixing bowl add grinded figs, gram flour, chopped green chilli, salt, pinch of turmeric powder, all ground masala and mixing well. Take a frying pan and shallow fry.

  • When the kofta will brown take out. In the same pan add oil, chopped ginger garlic sauteed til brown. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt,tomato paste and curd and sauteed. At last all ground masala.

  • Take serving plate keep the koftas and pour the gravy. Now it is ready to serve.
