I am pretty sure that this cake will make your day brighter and happier. And believe me as you start baking this delicious egg-less chocolate cake, the smell of chocolate & vanilla will fill the air.
You simply can't resist that aroma. Pretty soon your hunger pang will drive you to the extreme level of greediness.
Note my words. This one is one of the super moist chocolate cake ,gooey and super easy to prepare.. And yeah it's egg-less too!

  • 1.5 cup All purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder Unsweetened
  • 1 cup Demerara sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp coffee powder
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2 tbsp Powdered Vanilla Sugar or Coconut Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Canola Oil


  • Pre-heat your OTG at 170 degree C for 10 minute. In a bowl sieve all-purpose flour and cocoa powder. Add baking soda and sugar. Mix well.
  • In 1 cup of hot water add coffee powder and leave for 30 sec sec. Add vinegar, oil.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix once. Add this liquid solution in 3 batches to dry ingredient. Stir them until they are combined and form a thin batter.
  • Pour this into 6 inch cake-pan. And bake for 18 to 20 minute until a skewer comes out clean when pinched at the center.
  • Don't over bake it. Once it is baked ,leave that for 5 minute inside the oven.
  • Take it out and cool it before you serve. Dust with powdered vanilla sugar or coconut sugar before serving.

Recipe Notes

Once cooled ,dust with some  powdered vanila-sugar or coconut-sugar before you serve to your guest..And make a little more as no-one will be satisfied with a single piece..
