Dharwad Peda

Ingredients
- Full fat milk 1 lt.
- sugar/tagar/boora 1/2 cup
- 8-10 crushed cardamom seeds
- Ghee 3-4 tbsp
- Sour curd or dahi 1 tbsp
- Vinegar 1/2 tsp
- Milk 1/4 cup
- Powdered sugar 4 tbsp for coated peda
Instructions
- First we will maje fresh paneer. First boil milk in a heavy bottom pan. In a bowl add curd add vinegar add little water and mix well.when it boils add curd mixture..When milk started curdle and whey start separate switch off the flame.
- Let it cool..Strain paneer in muslin cloth pour cold water over it so that sourness comes out. sqeeze all water from paneer and keep it aside.
- In a pan add paneer when all water evaporate add sugar, little milk and cardamom powder mix well. Grind it in smooth paste.
- Now heat a pan pour this paste in pan .Keep stirring mixture on low flame..Now keep patience and keep stirring.
- If mixture seems dry add milk add 1 tbsp ghee.keep stirring..
- Add rest ghee and milk .Mix well .Keep stirring .When mixture seems brown in color and dough like consistency turn off the gas..
- Keep it out in plate.let it cool a bit.. knead the Peda dough..Take lemon size ball out of it. Give your desire shape to Peda.
- Roll it in powdered sugar or boora. Dharwad milk Peda ready to bhog..
