Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 7 Cloves
  • 2 Black Cardamom
  • 4 Green Cardamom
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel Seeds
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp Ginger
  • 1.5 tbsp Garlic
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 6 Cashews
  • Salt to taste
  • Potatoes Sauteed
  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Baby Potatoes Boiled
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 4 Green Chilies
  • 3 Dry Red Chilies
  • 1/3 cup Yogurt Curd
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1.5 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Powder
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cream
  • 1 tbsp Fenugreek Seeds Kasoori Methi

Instructions
 

  • In a kadai, add a tsp of oil along with cumin seeds
  • Once they splutter, add prepared masala paste and fry for 5-6 minutes
  • Now add spices like chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt to taste
  • Continue to fry till oil separates
  • Turn the flame to low and add curd. give a good mix.
  • Add 1 cup of water or as required to adjust the consistency.
  • Finally, add fried aloos and cook for 20 min.
  • Lastly add some crushed kasuri methi
  • Serve dum aloo hot with rice, chapati or naan.
