This soup made from daliya or broken wheat or fada, lots of veggies and some spices.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • Daliya (broken wheat), soaked – ½
  • Oil – 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Roasted cumin powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 1 Tablespoon
  • Onion, chopped – 1 medium
  • Green peas – ¼ cup
  • Carrot, grated – ½ cup
  • Water – 1 ½ cup

How to cook?
  1. Wash and Soak Daliya with 1 cup of water for 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in kadai, add onion, grated carrot, peas and mix well, cook for 2 minutes
  3. Add soaked Daliya and salt, pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, Mix well. 
  4. Add 1 ½ cup water. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes or till daliya cook.
  5. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  6. Serve hot.
