Ingredients & Quantity
  • Urad dal 1/12 cup
  • Curd 1/2 kg
  • Roasted cumin powder 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • astofida powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped green chili 2 nos
  • Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Mint leaves for garnishing
  • Salt to taste
  • Fennel powder 1 tbsp
  • Black salt 1tsp
How to cook?
  1. Soak dal for 4 to 6 hour,remove the skin and make a smooth paste in blender .
  2. Now whip the dal till it become light .
  3. Add salt,astofida,fennel powder .
  4. Heat the oil fry the vadas golden brown.
  5. Whip the curd add salt,red chili powder,astofida,black salt,green chili,ginger,sugar,cumin powder.
  6. Soak the vadas in curd .
  7. Garnish with mint and coriander leaves ,,,,
