Ingredients & Quantity
  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Onion paste 1/1/2 tbsp
  • Sliced onion 1no
  • Salt to taste.
  • Thick curd 1/1/2 cup
  • Ginger,garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Green chili paste 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp or to taste
  • Coriander powder 1/1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/1/2 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 1 Stick Cinemon
  • 2 Green cardamom
  • 4 clove
  • 6 to 8 Black paper
  • Mace 1/2 piece
  • Black paper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Deshi ghee 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
How to cook?
  1. Wash the mutton and dry with a muslin cloth.
  2. Now marinade with lemon juice,1 tbsp ginger,garlic paste,black paper powder,green chili paste, and 1 tsp salt.keep aside for 1/2 hour.
  3. Heat the ghee and golden fry the sliced onion.
  4. Heat the oil in heavy bottom pan add cumin and whole spices, when they splutter add ginger,garlic paste,onion paste.saute till brown .
  5. Add dry spices saute 5 minute,now add marinated mutton mix well,add whisked curd,fried onion,roast it till oil separates.
  6. Add water as require cook till done.
  7. Garnish with coriander serve with chapati or rice...
