Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup potatoes boiled mashed
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp masala dabeli masala, available in Asian stores
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar (it needs to have the tanginess and sweetness)
  • 4 tbsp peanuts roasted

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and chopped onion and allow it cook for 4 minutes. Add a pinch of salt and sugar allowing it to caramelize little bit. Add one tbsp of dabeli masala and give a nice coat to onions
  • Add the mashed potatoes and mix it well and add 1 tbsp of Dabeli masala, one teaspoon of sugar and mix it well. Add one teaspoon of lime juice and reduce the heat and allow it to rest. Add some cilantro leaves and roasted pea nuts.

  • Warm the Taco shells in Microwave for 30 secs (will turn dark if its more)Take one spoon of the Dabeli filling and spread it gently across the shell. Sprinkle some roasted peanuts, coconut, cilantro, sev (or tortilla strips) and pomegranate
