Crispy Tamarind Baby Potatoes

Learn how to make sweet and sour Tamarind potatoes. These are quick to make where Potatoes are fried in airfryer and not deep fried. Healthy crispy potatoes goes best with fried rice or best served as snacks.

Ingredients
  

  • Baby Potatoes - 1/2 kg Boiled and peeled
  • Spring Onions - 2-3 pcs Sliced white portion, Chopped greens
  • Chopped Ginger - 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Sugar - 1-2 tsps
  • Tamarind pulp - 1/2 cup
  • Soya Sauce - 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Frying potatoes - Coat potatoes with 1-2 tsp oil along with salt. Fry these potatoes in preheated air fryer at 180 degrees for 10 min first. Check if potatoes are crisp, else airfry for another 10 mins.
  • Gravy - Heat 1-2 tsp oil in a kadai, saute onions both white and greens along with ginger. for 2-3 min maintaining the crispness.
  • Add fried potatoes to the cooked material, add tamarind pulp, soya sauce. Lastly add sugar and cook for 1-2 min. 4. Serve hot with bread or fried rice.
