Ingredients & Quantity
  • 1 cup boiled kabuli chana (white chick peas)
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger (adrak)
  • 4 slit green chillies
  • 1 cup sliced capsicum
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp ajinomoto
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

How to cook?
  1. Recipe for fry chana: Mix together the chana with soya sauce, salt, ajinomoto and cornflour well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add one by one kabuli chana in it and fry it till it become light brown color.
  3. Transfer it to a plate and sprinkle chat masala on it.
  4. Recipe for chili chana fry: Heat the oil in a non-stick kadhai, add the garlic,ginger and green chillies and saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add the capsicum and saute for another 1 minute.
  6. Add soya sauce, chilly sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, white pepper, ajnimoto and mix well.
  7. Add the coriander and saute for 2 minutes.
  8. Add the cornflour mixed with water while stirring continuously for 1 minute.
  9. Now, add fried chana in it, mix it properly and saute it for 2 minutes.
  10. Delicious, crispy and spicy chilli chana fry starter is ready to serve.
