Aloo tikki is a snack originating from the Indian subcontinent in North Indian. It is made out of boiled potatoes, onions and various curry spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large potatoes boil n peel
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies finely chopped
  • Salt
  • 1/2 red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for shallow fry

Instructions
 

  • In large mixing bowl mix all ingredients (potatoes, onion, green chilies, salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder and breadcrumbs) mix all ingredients well.
  • Take lemon size portion from mixture and make tikkis. Heat oil on nonstick pan, shallow fry tikkis till it turn brown. Transfer it on absorbing on paper.
  • Serve this hot with sauce, chutney or ketchup
