With this easy onion soup recipe, you can enjoy homemade, healthy onion soup whenever the mood strikes. It only requires few simple ingredients!
2 large onion sliced
1 cup fresh cream
1 cup chicken stock
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
Salt to taste
1/3 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 chopped spring onion
4 tablespoons butter
Some fried onion for garnishing
Heat 2 tablespoons butter in kadhai and cook onion till it turn soft.
Add all purpose flour in it n keep sauteing till there is no lumps. Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool down on room temperature.
Grind onion into fine paste. In same pan add remain butter and saute fresh white part of spring onion.
Add salt n black pepper powder. Keep mixing. Add chicken stock and bring it to boil.
Add onion paste (prepared earlier) we added all purpose flour in it so mix it well and keep sauteing till it turn into thick consistency.
Add fresh cream n mix it well. Cook for minute or 2minute. Keep sauteing. Switch off the flame.
Creamy Onion Soup is ready to serve. Serve in soup bowls and garnish barista n some spring onion.
