Oatmeal raisin cookies are very chewy and moist with a good flavour, this is healthy for health too

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Applesauce
  • 1.5 cup Cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder optional

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, add together applesauce, honey, and brown sugar. Beat egg , then stir in vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, raisins stir into the mixture.
  • Mix in oats. Cover, and chill dough for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Grease cookie sheets. Roll the dough into small sized balls, and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Flatten each cookie with a large fork.
  • Bake for10-15 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • I made the healthy version that’s why i replaced butter with applesauce, you can add butter instead of applesauce.
  • Cinnamon powder is optional , you can add other spice of your choice.
  • You can add nuts too instead of raisins.
  • Baking time vary because of different ovens
