Ingredients & Quantity
  • arvi/colocasia 1/2 kg
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • ajwain /carom seeds 2 tsp
  • finely chopped green chili 1 tbsp or 4 no
  • ghee or oil or olive oil 1 tbsp
  • red chili powder 1 tsp
  • garam masala powder as per taste or 1/4 tsp
  • green coriander for garnishing .
How to cook?
  1. wash the colocasia and boil in pressure cooker for 10 minutes,cool,peel and cur into two.
  2. marinade with lemon juice,salt and black pepper powder for 5 minutes,
  3. heat the oil in a pane crackle the carom seeds saute the green chili add marinated arvi ,red chili powder and garam masala powder .
  4. stir and mix all ingredients,cook it for 2 minute ,turn off the heat.
  5. garnish with coriander leaves serve hot with paratha or chapati .
