Coffee rub is a brilliant dry rub that is perfect for grilling meat and poultry. Make a jar and keep it ready to use whenever the mood strikes.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 1/4 cup Coffee, finely ground or instant powder
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper
  • 3 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Salt

How to cook?
  1. Mix everything together. Store in an airtight jar and use as needed. To use: Simply clean and dry meat, Make deep cuts into the meat. Rub this dry coffee rub all over the meat and leave it for marination for 3-4 hrs or overnight if you have time.
  2. When ready, simply grill on high flame to achieve a deep char and color.
