About this recipe

Channa leaves is seasonal so I like seasonal vegetables and fruits. When I saw the leaves in market I brought and cooked with Bengali style.

Ingredients for Cholaar Shak (bengal Gram Leaves) Bengali

  • 250 gms Channa leaves
  • 4-5 garlic cloves( chopped)
  • 2-4 green chilli slits
  • 2 red chilli
  • Five spice masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp mustered oil

How to cook Cholaar Shak (bengal Gram Leaves) Bengali

  1. Wash thoroughly the leaves remove the stem. Chops the leaves.
  2. Take a frying pan heat and add mustered oil red chilli, five spice and chopped garlic. Sauteed add chopped leaves salt, turmeric powder and green chilli slits. Cover the lid.
  3. It will ready within 10 minutes. Serve with steam rice.

Notes

Green vegetables always good for health.
