Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 /4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup castor sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon instant coffee powder
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 table spoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- For Chocolate ganache
- 2 cup cream
- 4 cup dark chocolate
- 2 tab spoons butter
- For the sugar syrup
- 1 cup water
- 3 tab spoons sugar

Instructions
- Preheat oven @ 180. Grease 8' pan with butter
- Seive all the dry ingredients except sugar. For 7 to 8 times. (whole wheat flour, coco powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt)
- Mix sugar gently
- In warm water add instant coffee powder mix it.then add all the wet ingredients (oil,lemon juice, vanilla essence) to it.
- Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Cut and fold method do not over mix. Pour it into greased dish and bake @180 for 25 to 30 minutes till toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cling wrap cake and froze it for 1 hour. Remove from freezer let it be there in wrap for 30 min then cut the cake into layers.
- Chocolate ganache
- Heat cream in heavy bottom pan. Add it to chocolate pieces then add butter mix well lumps should not be there. Cling wrap and leave it on kitchen counter for 3 to 4 hrs. Then chocolate ganache is ready to be used.
- Sugar syrup
- Heat water along with sugar for 5 minutes. Let it cool
- Assembling
- Take a cake board put little glaze on it then put a layer of cake soak it with sugar syrup. Put chocolate ganache on it and spread over the cake. Put the next layer of cake repeat the above process. Cover the whole cake with ganache.
- Decorate cake with chocolates.
Notes
- To enhance taste of chocolate cake I have used instant coffee powder.
- By cling wrap and frozeing cake condensation process so we are leaving it on counter for 30 min without removing the clingwrap.
