Chinese Chicken And Rice Soup

A Chicken and Rice Soup made by cooking chicken pieces in the broth which yields a beautiful savoury and golden soup. So if you are looking for healthy soup so this is the best recipe. The super easy yet heartwarming soup.

  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 250 gm chicken cut into small pieces
  • 1 chopped spring onion
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil


  • Soak rice for 2hours and after that drain extra water. Grind 1/2 soaked rice into fine paste. I m not going to use cornstarch.
  • Heat oil in deep pan add spring onion and saute it for 2minutes on low flame.
  • Add chicken pieces and cook for 5minutes on medium flame or till it done.
  • Add salt and black pepper powder, mix it well.
  • Add soaked rice and rice paste which prepared earlier, saute for minute.
  • Add chicken stock in it. Cover the lid and cook till rice done. Do not over cook.
  • Chicken and rice soup is ready to serve. Serve this hot in soup bowl.
