If there is one other cuisine that we Indians like apart from our very own desi food - it has to be Chinese. Of course like any other non Indian dish we like to add in our own twist of masalas and make it more appetising for our palettes which only keeps asking for more!! And this recipe isn't any different. Warning - this is spicy and handle your palette with care. After all its Chilli Paneer. Goes great as a starter finger food for your parties or pair it with a chilled drink of your choice
Follow this easy recipe to make restaurant style Chilli garlic paneer from the comfort of your very own kitchen -

Ingredients
- 200 gms - Fresh Paneer/ Cottage Cheese
- 1 medium sized onion - finely chopped
- 1 medium sized tomato - finely chopped
- 12 Garlic cloves - finely chopped
- 8-9 Red Chillies soaked in warm water for 10mins ground to a fine paste
- 1 tbsp - Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp - Red Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp - Tomato Sauce
- 1 tsp - Vinegar
- 1 tsp - Black pepper powder
- 1 tsp - Garam masala powder
- 1 tsp - Coriander powder
- 1/2 cup - Maida/ All purpose flour
- 1 tbsp - Cornflour
- 2 Green chillies - slit into halves
- Coriander leaves for garnish
- Oil for frying the paneer and cooking

Instructions
- In a wok fry onions until they are golden brown and the raw smell disappears. Next add in the finely chopped garlic and tomato. Cook till the oil comes up. Add the ground red chilli paste and cook till the consistency becomes thick
- In a bowl, add in the paneer cubes, dry spice powders, a pinch of salt, Maida and cornflour.
- Add in some water and coat the paneer cubes with the Maida- spice mixture. Let it marinate for 15-20mins
- In a wok heat adequate oil to fry the paneer cubes,Ensure that the flame is medium high and you drop one cube at a time, to avoid it from sticking to each other
- Fry the cubes until golden brown and soak them on a tissue to remove excess oil
- In a different wok, add 3 tbsp oil and the slit green chillies
- Next add the pre- cooked Chilli garlic sauce
- Add in tomato ketchup, Red chilli sauce and stir
- Finally add in soy sauce, salt and stir to marry all the ingredients. Check for spice levels basis your preference
- Add the deep fried paneer cubes and stir to coat them. Cook for 3-5 mins. Avoid over stirring else the paneer will crumble.
- Garnish with coriander leaves
- Restaurant style Chilli Garlic Paneer is ready to be served
