  • 4 -5 Potatoes boiled
  • 1/4 cup Chickpeas chole boiled
  • 2 - Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Bread Crumbs some for binding
  • stick Saute Stick Or Icecream Sticks saute or icecream
  • leaves coriender leaves chopped corinader finely chopped
  • Black Salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying


  • First drain all water from boiled chickpeas. Take a blender ,and put chickpeas ,ginger ,green chilli and grind coarsely.
  • Take boiled potatoes , Mash it with hands or masher , add chickpeas , bread crumbs and all dry spices . Mix well . Add finely chopped corainder leaves .
  • Now make oval or cylindrical shape kawabs with mixture and insert saute or icecream sticks in it .
  • Deep fry these kawabs with sticks . Serve hot with chutney of your choice .

Recipe Notes

Soak saute stick or icecream stick into the water for about 10 minutes . Then dry it and use in recipe This step is for preventing less oil absorbing by sticks .
