Ingredients
- 100 gm Chickpea
Dry powder
- 2 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 3 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- Salt (to taste)
- 2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 3 tbsp Coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
- 1/2 teaspoon Sugar

Instructions
- Wash n Soak chickpea for 8hrs. Pressure cook with little salt until soft. When pressure releases, take 4 tbsp of chickpea and grind it keep separately
- Now grind all the items under grinding. In a pan heat oil n add all the items under seasoning.
- Once it splutter add the grinded masala. Keep the flame on medium and cook the masala for 8-10 min.
- Once the raw smells goes off n masala becomes little dry add the masala powder and sauté well. Add 2tblsp water. Sauté it until dry.
- Now add the cooked chickpea along with water. If the water in the cooked chickpea is very low you can add some water and let it boil for 10min.
- Add salt to taste now. Now mix in the grinded chickpea and mix well. Let it boil in low flame for 3 min.
- Now add crushed kasuri methi, coriander leaves and sugar switch off the flame. Taada yummy gravy is ready. You'll surely increase the quantity of chapati than usual when you have it with this gravy. Happy cooking
Recipe Notes
- Soaking the chickpea for at least 8hrs is very important to get soft chickpea
- Cooking the masala in medium flame until dry is needed to give good taste n aroma to gravy
- Adding sugar at last give a good taste. Also to have a good consistency of gravy add the grinded chickpea.
