Chia Seeds Fruity Parfait

Chia Seeds are known for Omega- 3 and a mus have for the vegetarian in their regular diet to fulfill the need of omega-3 and recently I got a chance to experiment with Chia Seeds. It can be used to garnish as well as blend in the recipe. Here is my simple, tasty layered Parfait which has used 1 tablespoon of Chia seeds and hence fulfills my daily need of Omega-3

  • 1 mango Peeled and Cut
  • 100 gm or small bowl of Museli
  • 2 table spoon of yogurt
  • 1 tsp of chia Seeds Soaked for 30 mins
  • 1 Apple deseed but with peel
  • Handful of pomegranate Seeds


  • Take Museli and put it in the jar or Bowl.
  • Add a layer of cut Mango pieces.
  • Add handful of dry fruits like walnut, almonds and pine nuts
  • Add Yogurt above this dry fruit layer.
  • Add Apple Pieces in such a way that the pink skin of apple is visible from outside which makes it attractive and kids will love the colors.
  • Add Pomegranate Seeds and top it with Chia Seeds which are already Soaked.
