chandiya is an unique ,traditional bread made from
split urad dal .chandia is very healthy , protein rich bread which is fried and then soaked in spiced water .

- Wash urad dal and soak it for 4 hours .And grind it without Water . Take it out in a bowl and Whisk well .
- Take a pan heat 2 tsp oil in it crackle asafoetida ,cumin and add 2 glass of water .And allow to boil .Add salt in it .Set aside for cooling.This water is used to dip chandiya into it .
- Take a wok.heat oil in it .To make chandiya take a small ball from the dal mixture .Apply some oil on this .
- Take a polythene sheet and place chandiya ball on it .Cover with another polythene sheet .And press it with the help of bowl .And make small poori .Make all chandiya like this .
- Carefully remove polythene and place chandiya one by one in hot oil .And fry them in hot oil on low medium flame.till little golden colour .
- Drain out chandiya on kitchen towel .And soak them in tamperd water.
- After some time chandiya rises in the tamperd water and become tender ,take them out and serve them by sprinkling chat masala and garlic chutney .
