Channa dal is such a grain and source of protein which we need in this Covid19. As per Ayurvedic there is 160 calories in 100 gm chana dal. Chana dal is rich in B complex vitamin such as B1, B2, B3 and B9 which plays an important role in glucose metabolism. We normally offer this type of halwa on laxmi pooja. My mother used to make different types of recipes for bhog prasad this is one of those recipes.
